We specialise in alloy wheel repair and refurbishment. We have over 10 year’s experience in the industry and are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality service possible. With state of the art machinery our team can offer a wide range of alloy wheel repairs which include kerb damage, scuff marks, scratches, dents and dings using different techniques.
We understand that your alloy wheels are an important part of your car, and we take great care in ensuring that they are repaired and restored to perfection. We offer a wide range of services, including powder coating, diamond cutting, wheel straightening, welding, to name a few. We can powder coat alloys from 10” to 22” and larger. Diamond cut alloys cut be cut up to 22”.
Our state of the art equipment includes 3 tyre machines, 2 wheel balancers, 2 hot strip chemical tanks that can strip between 32 and 40 alloys every 3 to 4 hours, a preparation room with custom built tables to prepare alloys to the highest standard, a manual sand blaster for removing heavy corrosion, an auto blaster to have the best prepared keyed wheel surface, 2 CNC lathes for precision diamond cutting alloys. Our oven is Scotland’s largest and the UKs 2nd largest and has the maximum capacity to hold 63 alloys at one time and is designed to ensure no overspray contaminants go where they aren’t meant to. The sheer size of the oven means we can turnaround all 63 alloys every 2 hours 30 minutes. As you can see from the video above the layout of the oven and the use of pedestals instead of the alloys being ‘hung’ up means that the valve holes are fully covered in powder and there is no risk to them leaking.
All this equipment and our knowledge means Foz Sports Alloys offers the best possible better than factory finish and a premium service. No matter what aspect of alloy wheel refurbishment you need we have got you covered.
Our Services
We have a wide range of alloy wheel repair and refurbishment services all designed to bring your damaged alloys back to life. Here are some of the services we offer at Foz Sports Alloys.
Diamond Cut Refurbishment
Our alloy wheel diamond cutting and refurbishment service uses a CNC lathe machine to precision cut the surface of your alloy back to its original condition. We only remove what’s required allowing the maximum number of cuts in the future.
Powdercoat Refurbishment
Powder coated alloy wheels are far more durable and resistant to corrosion and damage than diamond cut surfaces or wet paint finishes. Whether you are looking to restore the factory colour or go for a different colour or finish we have a wide range to offer.
Welding
Alloys can sustain cracks very easily when driven over kerbs, potholes and speed bumps. Larger alloys with lower profile tyres can be more susceptible to cracking. We can repair cracks at a fraction of the cost of a new alloy.
Wheel Straightening
Alloys with buckles or flat spots mean your tyres will constantly need re-inflated and will potentially need replaced more frequently. It can also result in vibrations that can seriously damage your suspension and other vital components. Buckle up and come on down.
Motorbike Alloys
These can be refurbished just like standard alloys. As long as the alloys have the tyres removed, the bearings/hubs removed and no grease present. We mask off mating surfaces to ensure the best possible finish and the safest when they are rebuilt.
Split Rim Alloys
This type of refurbishment is a lot more time intensive than our standard refurbishment. The component parts of the split rim are separated using precision tools and the barrel and face are marked so that the same face and barrel are matched when being reassembled.
Wheel Alignment
Hunter 4 wheel laser alignment - our wheel technicians use the latest equipment to perfectly align your wheels. Get in line!
